All’interno dell’esclusivo Royal Mansour Hotel, il Sesamo
Restaurant nasce per rappresentare la cucina italiana nel cuore
della città di Marrakesh. Progettato dai fratelli Alajmo, si presenta
come un classico palazzo veneziano, con soffitti alti, sontuose
tappezzerie, arazzi e velluti pregiati che evocano lo stile e il
fascino di Venezia. Lussuosi e di classe, tutti gli arredi e i materiali
realizzano un armonioso connubio tra classico e contemporaneo,
richiamando anche la filosofia dello chef stellato Massimiliano
Alajmo, che ama utilizzare prodotti tipici locali per creare piatti
gourmet, che fondono la cultura italiana e quella marocchina. Le
sale del Sesamo Restaurant sono illuminate dalla collezione Izmir,
in versione lampadario e lampada da parete. I bracci affusolati, le
forme sinuose, le preziose lavorazioni del cristallo veneziano creano
delle silhouette slanciate e ricche di dettagli, che si integrano
pienamente nell’ambiente, donandogli una personalità unica.

SESAMO RESTAURANT
Inside the exclusive Royal Mansour Hotel, the Sesamo Restaurant
is an outpost of Italian cuisine in the centre of the city of Marrakesh.
Designed by the Alajmo brothers, it resembles a classic Venetian
palace with high ceilings, sumptuous drapes, tapestries and fine
velvets, referencing the style and charm of Venice. The luxurious
furnishings and materials achieve a harmonious balance between
classic and contemporary, also in relation to the philosophy of the
award-winning chef Massimiliano Alajmo, who likes to use typical
local products to create gourmet recipes that bring Italian culture
into contact with Moroccan tastes. The spaces of the Sesamo
Restaurant are lit with the Izmir collection, in the chandelier and
wall lamp models. The tapered arms with sinuous forms, and the
fine workmanship of the Venetian glass, create slender silhouettes
full of details, to fit perfectly into the context and give it a unique
personality.
