Il vaso Palatino celebra la maestria dei mosaici romani e l'arte
dei vetrai di Murano. Ispirato alle ville del colle Palatino, evoca
le pavimentazioni a mosaico antiche, rivisitate nel terrazzo
alla veneziana e reinterpretate in chiave contemporanea. La
creazione inizia con la "tiratura delle canne" e la formazione delle
murrine, fuse e applicate a un cilindro di vetro, modellato e rifinito
con una superficie opaca. Il design a tessere rende ogni pezzo
unico e raffinato come una danza tra passato e presente. Una
celebrazione della bellezza eterna e della ricca eredità artistica,
reinterpretata per il mondo contemporaneo.
The Palatino vase celebrates the mastery of Roman mosaics
and the art of Murano glassmakers. Inspired by the villas of the
Palatine Hill, it evokes ancient mosaic pavements, reimagined in
Venetian terrazzo and reinterpreted in a contemporary key. The
creation begins with the "drawing of the rods" and the formation
of the murrine, fused and applied to a glass cylinder, shaped
and finished with a matte surface. The tessellated design makes
each piece unique and refined, like a dance between past and
present. It is a celebration of eternal beauty and rich artistic
heritage, reinterpreted for the contemporary world.
