Glass, the absolute protagonist
The majestic bed is the undisputed star of this room.
It is adorned with wooden carved frame with fine decorated sandblasted glass
insert. I got a three dimensional effect by overlapping two engraved glass sheets
with different pattern over a damask fabric back, and finally, by lighting up all
with a lateral led-strip.
The brave choice of the patinated black finish adds elegance and austerity,
contrasting with the elegance of glass decorated like lace.The damask wallpaper
with a gold base and the gold leaf finishes on the ceiling and the wood panelling
make the environment prized and bright.
We made important choices of style that are unusual and strong, but they
reflected our client, his vigour, his desire to break away from the world to regain
vitality and to meditate. Hence the idea of a living area where in the evening he
will be able to rest with his brandy and his book, and catch his breath to be full
of energy for the new day.
