Tufted chair with rolled arms and a rolled back. loose seat.
Turned legs ending in brass caps and casters.
This chair demonstrates the longstanding, but reluctantly
acknowledged, influence of the french on english furniture.
by themselves, the rolled back and the tufting would have
been high luxury. in this case, however, the shape of the arm
gently drapes, and the arm panel has a sinuous look. The
marriage of comfort and glamour.
