A rare George II mahogany and gilt Wentworth chair with rectangular upholstered
back support and seat frame; the square chamfered legs carved and gilded on the
knees with flowing formalized foliage, and with a carved giltwood rope pattern
border to the legs united with H-shaped stretcher; and terminating in similarly
carved and gilded squared block feet. English circa: 1750.
