An elegant Russian Imperial birchwood and ebonized window seat after a design
by George Bullock; the boldly scrolling end supports terminating in a carved and
ebonised lion’s mask, the square seat frame inset with upholstered panels to the
carved wings, on wide-splayed feet carved as ebonised, feathered and scaled eagle’s
talons. Russian circa: 1840.
