A superb Regency upholstered tub chair in the Egyptian style decorated in deep
vert-de-bronze green and gilt, the arm supports formed as leopard masks, with
carved giltwood manes and anthemium motifs, sweeping down to curved life-like
legs terminating in clawed and padded feet with rear legs and feet similarly carved;
the concave, swept-back seat frame and arched back upholstered in contemporary
style. English circa: 1810.
