inspired by mid-century danish sofas. high back with just a hint of a
curve. high flared arms again with just a hint of a curve. three throw
pillows. bench seat. reeded square tapered legs.
in french, lisse means smooth. While the overall effect is largely
rectilinear, almost every surface moves smoothly. this formidable,
shelter-like sofa is architecture, softened but no less formidable.
ideal in a great room or for media. a neutral foil for more exuberant
lounge chairs.
