oblong bench with concave sides over a wood frame
base. shaped bracket feet.
With a choice of fabrics, this bench can work in both
formal and more provincial interiors. inspired by an
18th century french travel trunk, many of which had
surprisingly elaborate forms. appropriate as an ottoman,
a cocktail table, a hall bench, or an end-of-bed bench.

the cross frame, or curule, design was used by the
romans as a seat for dignitaries of a high order. this
neoclassically-inspired reinvention functions as a simple
stool or a spot table. shown in brown, also available in
black or red leather. nail head trim standard.
