tight sway back. pleated ends. Flared legs.
inspired by a scottish original, the scale and curve of this chair were
meant to be voluptuous — to stretch out in front of a fire. two of
these chairs, with only an ottoman between them, strike a spa-like
symmetry. this divided chaise is another example of the designer
adding a curve or somehow lightening a traditional form — making it
not only new but modern. ideal in a large bedroom or near a window.
