| curved back sofa
this is a contemporized crescent sofa. curved back with three loose
cushions, a shaped bench seat and a slope arm. the arm actually
holds the seat in a crisp, contemporary way. square tapered legs,
flaring in the back.
this sofa was designed to float in a rotunda — or anywhere a room
divider might be necessary. the corresponding curved back chair
completes the look. superbly tailored, with strong vertical lines,
the form is reminiscent of a man’s suit. as a result of the curve, the
corner seats offer an opportunity for intimate conversation.
