the original resides in one of the homes acquired by the guinness
family of dublin over the course of the last two centuries. Whether
used singly or in pairs, this compact Wing chair makes a statement.
like most irish furniture, it has both complexity and a sense of
whimsy. the blind fretwork beckons rooms needing a hint of spice.
the chair floats, possibly overlooking a garden. circa 1760.
