bill sofield believes that a room should live as well as it looks. for that reason, upholstery has
always been an important part of the collection — an essay in how modern design and baker
comfort are in fact compatible. plinth sofas tend to anchor a room, while the complementary
chairs are a study in masterful original design. In lieu of roll arms and arched backs, the collection
uses convergence to add visual interest — and easier placement in smaller urban settings.
