In 2019 the Mirto collection is also being expanded to include new
designs and finishes starting with the folding director’s chair now in
ecru canvas with natural thick leather armrests and a die-cast
aluminium frame in the new colours, clay and sage. There is also a
series of very innovative dining, tables, low tables, small tables and
console in several sizes that reproduce the collection’s minimalist
design elements with a fresh take on colours and decorations.
La collezione Mirto si amplia nel 2019 con nuove proposte e finiture, a
partire dalla sedia regista pieghevole ora presentata con un rivestimento
in tela ecrù con braccioli in cuoio naturale e struttura in pressofusione di
alluminio nei nuovi colori argilla e salvia. La grande novità è rappresentata
dalla serie di tavoli da pranzo, tavoli bassi, tavolini e console in varie
dimensioni che riprendono il disegno essenziale di quelli già parte della
collezione, ma introducono i temi del colore e del decoro.
The die-cast aluminium frame comes in three new varnishes - clay,
sage and anthracite - and the table tops are made of black lava stone
laid out in designs based on traditional Sicilian lace in the three
different frame shades.
A really innovative technique has been used to manufacture the
decorative tiles using a special material obtained by crushing
recycled electronic equipment screens which is then applied to the
surface of the tiles using an exclusive production process.
Le strutture in pressofusione d’alluminio sono verniciate nei colori argilla,
salvia e antracite, mentre i piani sono realizzati con piastrelle di
pietra lavica smaltata con decori che riproducono il disegno di un pizzo
siciliano tradizionale da abbinare alle tre tonalità delle strutture.
La tecnica di stampa delle piastrelle è altamente innovativa e utilizza
per il decoro uno speciale materiale ottenuto dalla frantumazione del
vetro di monitor e strumenti elettronici dismessi, poi applicato alla
superficie delle piastrelle tramite un esclusivo processo di lavorazione.
