Velvet takes its name from its velvety covering, the fireproof Micro 2000 fabric with a suede effect. All the lamps in the collection (hanging, ceiling, wall and floor lamps) feature a tapered shade covered in this material. The stand of the floor versions, available with a 70 cm diameter, is also covered in Micro 2000. In the ceiling version diameters vary from 70 to 160 cm and from 50 to 160 cm in the hanging version, while the wall lamp is available in widths of 45 up to 70 cm. Velvet comes in ten colours: ivory white, brown, orange, red, bordeaux, green, light blue, blue, ice white or black. The lamps use halogen, fluorescent, incandescent or metal halide bulbs.
