Isol by David Thulstrup is a sound-absorbing light that adds architectural qualities to a space.
Built on the shape of a cylinder, the lamp offers elegant functionality, pared down to its simplest
expression.
Using patented sound-absorbing and extra-light material produced in Italy, Isol is the result of
high-precision work. Through the application of ultrasound technology, a seamless flow of
colour and texture is created, while embracing the die-cast aluminium rings. Its internal details
are not directly visible from the outside, which allows the lamp to melt into the scenery. Part
sculpture and part light source, Isol can be used in a variety of combinations and environments.
Alone, it convinces through quiet authority. In multiples, its distinctive character is enhanced
by connecting the rings to extend lighting and noise-absorbing power.
