In parallel to the architectural design, Articolo and Studio Goss worked in tandem to design the
bespoke 12:40 wall sconce specifically for the home. The 12:40 wall sconce complements the subtle
curves of Cape Schanck House. With a process that took two years to engineer, the collection’s
distinctive feature lies in its ability to harmoniously match the finish of the 12:40 shade with
the applied architectural finishes of your walls – be it Tadelakt, Marmorino, or render finishes.
This ingenious feature transforms the 12:40 creating a seamless sculptural element that blurs
the line between art and ambient lighting.
With a range of bespoke applied finishes available and providing further scope to apply additional
customised finishes on site. The 12:40 is also available in travertine, alabaster, cast glass, and a range
of exquisite Italian timber veneers.
