Il viaggio nei Paesaggi Italiani fa sosta nel mondo onirico delle Langhe.
Un paesaggio collinare unico della nostra Penisola. Un arcipelago di paesi e
poderi immersi in un’atmosfera dai colori indefiniti e cangianti che hanno ispirato
quattro nuove superfici.
Le langhe sono un luogo magico dove si può sperimentare la sospensione del
tempo. Proprio questa idea di sospensione è il tema comune di questa ricerca che
unisce superfice e colore.
Ancora una volta il vetro è il registro sul quale abbiamo impresso i caratteri e
gli stati d’animo che un paesaggio trasmette. In queste colline, iI sole – anche
nelle ore estive – non produce mai ombre nette. Tutto è indefinito, sospeso. I temi
cromatici di questo paesaggio sono avvolti in una calda foschia che è il respiro
profondo di una terra in cui vigneti e case disegnano un profilo di orizzonte
calmo e avvolto nel silenzio.
A queste nuove finiture abbiamo dato il nome di paesi che rappresentano questo
territorio: Roddi, Neive, La Morra e Barbaresco.
The journey through Paesaggi Italiani takes a break in the dream world of the
Langhe.
A unique hilly landscape of our Peninsula. An archipelago of villages and farms
steeped in an atmosphere of undefined, shimmering colours that have inspired four
new surfaces.
The Langhe are a magical place where one can experience the suspension of
time. It is precisely this idea of suspension that is the common thread running
through this research, which brings together surface and colour.
Once again, glass is the register on which we have imprinted the characters
and states of mind that a landscape conveys. In these hills, the sun - even at
summertime - never produces sharp shadows. Everything is indefinite, suspended.
The colour themes of this landscape are enveloped in a warm mist that is the deep
breath of a land where vineyards and houses draw a horizon contour that is calm
and shrouded in silence.
We have given these new finishes the names of villages that represent this
territory: Roddi, Neive, La Morra and Barbaresco.
