Did you know that Italians use nearly 500 different
hand signs on a daily basis? None of these include touch,
and that’s probably a good thing.
Touch then is the final piece of the jigsaw when it comes
to experiencing, life. It allows us to make connections in
ways that we can’t forget; your first kiss, the first time you
ride a bike & the first time you fall. Touch connects us with
moments, and moments bring experiences to life.
Touch also allows us as a company to gain another level
of experience and vision into our daily work. We know
how important the feel and sensation of cloth is, but what
about leather? Leather evokes different emotions but it also
requires a different precision to fabric.
Dyeing, drying, testing, it looks the same as fabric but
is different. This is a different natural material, one that
requires a different expertise and knowledge. We select
material that stands the test of time, that stands out
for softness, colour but also what they bring to the touch
sensation; a sense of belonging to a moment in time, a
personal experience.
Our search for perfection is paramount
in also choosing our suppliers who
respect high quality standards.
For example, our leather is treated
numerous times before being used in our
furniture construction.
