The detail makes the design. In the planning and construction of Big Night bed, the angular clasp is the focal point. The fold of the headboard is a spontaneous,
natural gesture: it expresses the ancestral discovery that surfaces could be modeled, the concrete action from which a concept comes into being. It’s the very
gesture of fingers pinching together that suggests how to keep the shape of the fold stable, through the use of a fibula, a U-shaped metallic clasp realized
with exquisite metalwork – a minimalist accessory with a clean and rigorous shape. The clip pinches the edges of the continuous surface of the covered
panel, generating an overhang in the fold and enhancing the well-tailored qualities of the fabric. This exactingly crafted embellishment is duplicated in the
corners of the bed frame, becoming fibula and foot alike. The headboard is a meticulous rectangular-shaped panel, folded on the sides, at once a protective
niche and a refined aesthetic element. The vast, generous lenticular surfaces are taut yet accommodating, enhancing the experience of intimate comfort that
makes the night an endless adventure. More than a bed to sleep on, Big Night is a stage where personal stories can unfold.
Il dettaglio è l’espressione. Nel pensiero progettuale e nella costruzione del letto Big Night, il giunto angolare è il vero focus point. La piega della testata è un
gesto spontaneo: in esso rivive l’esperienza ancestrale della scoperta di poter modellare le superfici, l’azione concreta da cui nasce un progetto. È lo stesso
gesto delle dita che si uniscono a suggerire come tenere stabile la forma della piega, con una fibula, un profilo metallico piegato a U: un tocco di raffinata
gioielleria, un accessorio minimale, dalla forma pulita e rigorosa. Il fermaglio pizzica gli spigoli della superficie continua del pannello tappezzato, generando
la piega in sporgenza ed esaltandone il valore sartoriale del tessuto. Questa guarnizione di eccellente fattura si ripete anche negli spigoli del cassone-
sommier, diventando al tempo stesso fibula e piede. La testata è un pannello dalla forma rettangolare rigorosa, piegata ai lati, che assolve al ruolo di nicchia
protettiva e di elemento estetico raffinato. Le superfici ampie e generose hanno una morbidezza tesa e lenticolare, esaltando quelle doti di comfort intimo
che rendono la notte un’avventura infinita. Non solo un letto su cui dormire, ma anche un palcoscenico per racconti personali.
