The city is a melting pot of ideas, cultures, people, and identities. How can you channel that into something we can all take into our own lives, our own
living situations? Gino Carollo may present us with an answer. With its frame in eucalyptus and zebrano wood, a smoked glass segment and a marble top,
Brooklyn has a lot going on in one beautifully designed product; not too dissimilar to a place which even New York raised Anthony Bourdain famously
quipped, “I have never truly gotten to know.”
Come si fa a sintetizzare un meltin’ pot di idee, culture, persone e identità come Brooklyn e renderlo parte della nostra vita quotidiana, delle nostre case?
Gino Carollo ha azzardato questa risposta. Fra la struttura in legno di eucalipto e zebrano, la sezione in vetro fumé e il top in marmo, Brooklyn è un prodotto
di straordinario ingegno, non così diverso da quel quartiere che persino un newyorchese doc come Anthony Bourdain confessò di non essere mai riuscito
a “conoscere fino in fondo”.
