Architectural Lighting
Wall Washer optics provides a uniform
illumination of large vertical surfaces.
By emphasizing walls,it creates a visual
expansion effect to make spaces brighter
and higher.
It is mainly used in museums, galleries,
retail and landscape lighting. In these kind
of applications the task is to direct the focus
of a customer correctly and to give an excellent
uniformity lighting.
The distance from the wall should be
accurately considered, luminaires are usually
placed at a distance of one third of ceiling
height.
The optics wide angle contributes to
the “smooth out” lighting effect and allows
a reduction in the number of luminaires
needed to illuminate the surface.
