Dimming Options and Recommendations
Dim Type A is a phase dimming for dimmable bulb or dimmable ballast
with 2 wires only.
Dim Type C is DALI dimming and requires 5 wires (line, neutral, ground
and 2 control wires which are uni polar) allowing dim control from a
computer or from a push button. Suitable for smart home control systems,
this kind of dimming is sometimes called Architectural Dimming.
Dim Type E is similar to Dim Type C but with a wall mounted remote
control. Aqua Creations provide the receiver and transmitter; no control
wires required. Suitable for places with 3 wire electrical system.
Dim Type J requires 5 wires but dimming is provided by changing control
voltage, 1-10v with a dimming potentiometer.
