Il Cielo era maschile e conteneva l'Acqua. La terra era femminile e nelle sue
viscere era contenuto il Fuoco. La Vita nacque per l’ iniziativa del Cielo, che un
giorno inviò la sua Acqua sulla superfcie della Terra. La Terra accolse così la prima
Pioggia, che fece germogliare le piante. Alcune si trasformarono in animali, altre
in uomini. Il Cielo e la Terra, messi in contatto dalla Pioggia fecero scoppiare il
Fulmine, che scatenò l'impulso primordiale, mettendo in perpetuo movimento
il Cielo e la Terra stessi, l'Acqua ed il Fuoco, che l'uno e l'altra contenevano.
Da quei tempi immemorabili, prolungando la potenza del fuoco, i nostri
antenati hanno imparato a far scaturire il Fuoco dalla pietra e dal legno secco...

within her contained the Fire. Life begins because the Sky took the initiative and
one day sent his Water upon the surface of the Earth. The Earth welcomed its frst
Rain and made the plants sprout. Some became animals, others humans. The
Earth and the Sky, in contact by the Rain, made lighting explode which released
the primordial impulse, putting in perpetual movement the Water and the Fire that
each had within. Since those memorable moments, extending the Fire’s potential,
our ancestors learned how to make Fire come from stones and from dry wood...
