The Andreu World Outdoor collection utilizes EPL-5 treated steel. The
EPL-5 treatment is a series of electrolytic processes that combines
phosphatizing, electrolytic finishing and polyester varnishing in a
uniform application. This same process is used in the automotive and
naval industries creating a finish totally resistant to corrosion and UV
light. Additionally the treatment makes the steel highly resistant to
impact, deformation and chemical damage. It is suited to outdoor use,
with a level 5 resistance (on sea craft). The process is environmentally
friendly by giving a 100% yield in materials and is low emitting.
Las colecciones Andreu World Outdoor utilizan Acero EPL-5, un
método utilizado en la producción de automóviles y que garantiza
una gran durabilidad en su uso en el exterior.
Se trata de un proceso industrial automatizado, fiable y controlado
que proporciona una alta resistencia al impacto, a las deformaciones
y a los productos químicos además de permitir su uso en exterior a
nivel 5 de resistencia (en cubierta de barco). Además, es un proceso
sostenible que permite un 100% de rendimiento de materiales y bajas
emisiones.
Maintenance and cleaning / Mantenimiento y limpieza
EPL-5 treated steel only requires regular cleaning with soapy water. In the case of
stains avoid abrasive sponges or fabrics.
El acero con tratamiento EPL-5, sólo demanda una limpieza regular con agua
jabonosa. En caso de manchas, se deben evitar las esponjas o tejidos abrasivos.
