Combining elegance of design and material sophistication, Gabriele and Oscar Buratti interpreted for Alias
the type of table with a central base. The result is SAEN, a table collection with an imposing base. Its fluid,
continuous and gentle design turns this table into a slender, willowy stem, creating a powerful formal contrast.
Available in two sizes,the base of Saen is a sort of inverted goblet to which round lacquered MDF tops, offered
in different diameters, are attached. The base is made out of compact rigid polyurethane, a high performance
material with advanced technical and aesthetic properties. This technopolymer makes it possible to obtain a
perfectly clean and even surface, preserving the concrete silhouette of the original project. Intended both for
the home environment, as a dining table or coffee table, and for offices and restaurants, the Saen collection is
characterized by its versatility.
Fondendo l’eleganza del disegno alla ricercatezza materica, Gabriele e Oscar Buratti interpretano per Alias la
tipologia del tavolo a base centrale. Nasce così SAEN, una collezione caratterizzata da un'importante base che
in un disegno fluido, continuo e morbido, diventa stelo esile e slanciato, in un contrasto formale molto forte.
Disponibile in due formati, la base di Saen è una sorta di calice rovesciato a cui vengono fissati piani circolari
in MDF laccato, proposti in diversi diametri. Realizzata in poliuretano rigido compatto, un materiale dalle
elevate prestazioni ad alto contenuto tecnico ed estetico, che consente di ottenere una superficie uniforme
e pulitissima, la base preserva la silhouette in cemento del progetto originario. Pensata sia per l’ambiente
domestico, come tavolo da pranzo o coffee table, che uffici o ristoranti, la collezione Saen si caratterizza per la
sua versatilità.
