With over 50 years in the business, Alfonso Marina has influenced design trends by
preserving the essence of creating timeless pieces of the highest quality that are not
limited to a particular period or style, being able to satisfy diverse tastes that work
in current metropolitan decorations and casual environments, reaching the most
demanding audiences around the world.
Our product design and construction use the best traditional approaches; our
joinery is done with mortise and tenons, ingrain moldings, complex veneered faces,
marquetry and bone inlays and paneled solid wood backs, all of which are made in
our plant. Our hardware is sand casted and finished in our shop. We specify only the
best materials, all the wood we use is kiln dried and our veneers are carefully chosen
to achieve products that will pass gracefully to the next generation. Most of the work
is done by hand, with CAD technology and a few other machines, the only nod to
modern technology.
Understanding this factory implies immersing into a world of techniques, materials
and history, which in the end take you to a high level of uniqueness.
Alfonso Marina exports 87% of its production and has worked with some of the
most influential designers in projects of the highest level around the world, including
residences in Saint Paul de Vence and China, penthouses in New York, presence in
hotels like the Hotel Hermitage in Monaco, Riffelalp Resort in Zermatt, Switzerland,
Four Seasons in Montecito California, Ritz Carlton in Half Moon Bay, Las Ventana’s al
Paraiso and One and Only Palmilla in Los Cabos, amongst others.
