COLLECTION
La Collezione si ispira, con ampi margini interpretativi, a Pierre-
Paul Jouve ( 1878-1973 ), ammirato come pittore e come scultore
degli animali della profonda Africa. Un artista giramondo che
non s’è perso un grande zoo europeo, esplorando in lungo e
in largo il Medio Oriente ed il continente americano alla ricerca
di sempre nuove esperienze e di influenze esotiche. Potente
nelle figure, meticoloso nelle tecniche, animatore instancabile
delle visioni decorative.
Alchymia rende omaggio, con la Collezione, ad un autentico
Maestro, percorrendo alcune tematiche a lui care, ancora oggi
ammirate nei musei del mondo.
The Collection is inspired, although with large interpretation
margin, to Pierre-Paul Jouve (1878-1973), appreciated both as
a painter and as a sculptor of African wild life and animals. A
globe trotter artist who visited all the great European zoos,
widely explored the Middle East and the American continent,
continuosly looking for new experiences and exotic influences.
He had very powerful figures, accurate tecniques and he was a
tireless animator of ornamental visions.
Through this Collection, Alchymia pays a tribute to a real
Master, by reviewing some of his favourite subjects, still
admired in the museums all over the world.
