Un sistema per l’arredamento interamente
realizzato in legno, immaginato e brevettato
ormai settant’anni fa, e che non ha smesso di
stupire per la versatilità e la funzionalità
che regala. Il modulo caratteristico è un
elemento a cavalletto dalla particolare
forma a V rovesciata, proprio per questo
sovrapponibile mediante un semplice
giunto a gravità, e che attraverso una
particolare sezione perimetrale può
accogliere, bloccandoli e trattenendoli a sé
attraverso un incastro a “coda di rondine”,
piani per librerie e moduli contenitori. Molto
amato ai tempi del suo debutto, pubblicato
dalle principali riviste internazionali
dell’epoca, presente in molti arredamenti
d’autore di quegli anni, il sistema Cavalletto
si mostra ancora oggi contemporaneo,
evidentemente evergreen nell’anima.
A furnishing system entirely made of wood,
imagined and patented more than seventy
years ago, and which has not ceased to
amaze for the versatility and functionality
it gives. The characteristic module is a
trestle element with a particular inverted V
shape, precisely for this reason it can be
superimposed by means of a simple gravity
joint, and that through a particular perimeter
section can accommodate, blocking and
holding them to itself through a “dovetail”
interlocking, shelves for bookcases and
container modules.
Much loved at the time of its debut,
published by the main international
magazines of the time, present in many
designer furnishings of those years,
the Cavalletto system is still contemporary,
evidently evergreen in its soul.
