EN The shape of BEAN was obtained through subtraction:
the completely rounded top, ideal for shedding rainwater,
becomes the template for symmetrical cut-outs which
house the light sources.
IT La forma di BEAN è stata ottenuta per sottrazione: una sommità
a tutto tondo, funzionale alla defluizione dell’acqua piovana,
diventa forma generatrice per l’intaglio simmetrico dentro la quale
trova posto la sorgente luminosa.
DE Die Form von BEAN wurde durch Subtraktion erhalten: ein runde
Oberseite, die den Abfluss des Regenwassers ermöglicht, wird zum
Ausgangspunkt für den symmetrischen Schnitt, in dem sich die
Lichtquelle befindet.
FR La forme de BEAN a été obtenue par soustraction: un sommet
en ronde-bosse, laissant l’eau de pluie s’écouler, devient une
forme génératrice avec l’entaille symétrique dans laquelle est
positionnée la source lumineuse.
