AUTHENTICITY CERTIFICATE CRYSTAL
We certify with this declaration that all Crystal products, made by 3SC, are strictly made of Real Crystal with 24% lead. 100%
Made in Italy, 100% Made in Tuscany.
THE CRYSTAL
The substantial difference between Glass and Crystal is given by the presence of lead oxide.
The important and necessary characteristic for the creation of certified crystal objects is in fact the presence of Lead Oxide, which is not present in
simple glass.
Lead increases the density of the crystal and consequently significantly emphasizes its refractive index. The crystal thus comes close to the optical
properties of diamonds: the light that touches it is refracted much more than normal glass, thus giving it that particular brilliance, typical of lead crystal.
The higher the lead oxide content, the greater this effect. Only glass that contains at least 24% lead oxide can legally be called CRYSTAL or Crystal
Glass.
The Crystal is recognizable for its performances of Sound, Brilliance and Transparency.
The tests carried out demonstrate that it is the most transparent and one of the best for its brilliance, refractive index nD>1.56.
Last but not least, its sonority is achieved thanks to the particular lead content, which produces a long, unmistakable and persistent sound frequency,
which will never be equaled by glass.
Furthermore, the slower cooling of the materials caused by the use of lead allows the creation of artefacts of exquisite beauty in terms of shape and
engravings, which cannot be obtained with simple glass.
Keep in mind that tiny air bubbles may be present, they are formed by the gases released by the fusion and dissolution of the raw materials, and by the
fact that the processing is done entirely by hand, these bubbles do not affect the quality or beauty of the crystal, similarly there may be light traces of
glue between the brass parts and the crystal.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE MAINTENANCE OF YOUR CRYSTAL IN ORDER TO PROPERLY PRESERVE
YOUR OBJECTS THROUGH THE YEARS AND WITH THEIR ORIGINAL BEAUTY.
To keep the product clean and avoid mineral deposits, gently wipe product surfaces with a soft cloth after each use. To remove stains or dirt, use a soap
and water solution with a neutral pH level, rinse and dry the product. Do not use sponges or chemical cleaners on these surfaces and reduce rubbing
of the product to a minimum.
The crystal is not treated to resist rapid changes in temperature, which could cause it to break or shatter.
