It's on a railway line that used to connect with \nthe old Ghan line that crosses Australia from Nor-\nth (Darwin) to South (Adelaide). The Ghan was an \nimpressive work of the time and even today is an \namazing machine powerful enough to run through \n3.000 km of desert. The name of the line comes \nfrom the Afghan camel drivers that were brought \nto Australia to help explore the unknown desert for \nthe first time, in the 19th century.\nToday no train stops over but the Parachilna old \ntrain station remains. The picture above shows two \npeople waiting for a train that never stops. But they \ndon't despair and one day that train, against all the \nlogical odds, stops. \nIt's a small tribute to faith and passion. And to tho-\nse who, mighty like the Ghan, pick up passionate \npassengers like the two folks in the picture.\nAfter many years of successful highs and occa-\nsional lows in the lighting sector, we decided \nto create PARACHILNA. Dedicated to decorative  \nlighting, PARACHILNA was born from our love of \nluxury. For us, luxury is about the integrity of the \ndesign, the quality of the materials and the artisa-\nnal craftsmanship that creates it.
