E’ proprio all’interno delle botteghe che la sua creatività trova il giusto sfogo che \nben presto si concretizza nella realizzazione di oggetti di vario genere che spaziano dalle lampade \nai complementi d’arredo ed ai gioielli. La frequentazioni di questi ambienti, lo portano spesso ad \nincontrarsi con alcuni scultori fiorentini che egli inizia ad osservare e che lo portano ad avvicinarsi alle \ntecniche di manipolazione della creta e della plastilina. Tecniche che, con il passare degli anni, riesce \npian piano ad affinare e successivamente a trasferire ai metalli come l’ottone e il bronzo. Da qui nasce \npresto l’idea di mettersi in proprio ed iniziare la produzione di articoli di illuminazione e complementi \nd’arredo classici la cui caratteristica fondamentale sarà appunto l’originalità. “L’Originale” produce \noggi articoli classici avvalendosi  ancora di antiche tecniche di lavorazione. I prodotti, nati dall’estro \ncreativo e dall’esperienza del signor Lanciotto Galeotti oggi aiutato dal figlio Andrea, sono interamente \ned esclusivamente realizzati in Italia nel laboratorio di Sesto Fiorentino. E’ proprio qui, a due passi \nda Firenze, che nasce e si consolida l’alchimia fra l’alta qualità dei materiali impiegati e la sapiente \nlavorazione eseguita da abili ed esperti artigiani. Lanciotto, born in \n1945, showed great creativity and remarkable manual dexterity as a boy. Once his studies were \ncompleted, he embarked on his first work experiences which brought him into contact with many \nFlorentine artisans. It was in the bottegas that his creativity found its proper outlet and soon \nculminated in the production of various types of articles, ranging from lamps to home furnishings \nto jewelry. While frequenting these environments, he often came into contact with Florentine \nsculptors whom he began to observe and who introduced him to clay and plasticine manipulation \ntechniques; techniques he gradually refined over time and subsequently transferred to metals \nsuch as brass and bronze. From here the idea to set up a company came naturally and he began \nproducing classic light fixtures, lamps and furnishings whose key features were, precisely, their \noriginality.
