Volevo una scocca semplice, \naccogliente e rotonda, caratterizzata da un segno \ngrafico non invadente ma distintivo, capace di \nrenderla diversa dalle altre. Dopo alcune prove, la \nscelta è ricaduta su un altorilievo. \nRicordi qualche aneddoto legato al progetto?\nPiù che un aneddoto, direi una novità importante: \nRelief è stato il primo progetto in cui non ho \nsviluppato soltanto la scocca in plastica con i \nbasamenti, ma anche la base girevole a quattro \nrazze in pressofusione di alluminio. I wanted a simple, welcoming, rounded \nshell, marked by a graphic detail that was not intrusive \nbut still distinctive enough to set it apart. After several \ntrials, the choice finally fell on a “high relief”. \nDo you recall any anecdotes related to the project?\nRather than an anecdote, I would mention an important \nturning point: Relief was the first project in which I \ndidn’t just design the plastic shell with its bases, but also \ndeveloped the four-star swivel base in die-cast aluminium. \nThis detail added an extra design value, and from there \nwe never stopped—Relief became a true seating solution \nconceived for the HoReCa and contract world.\nWho inspired you during the creative process?\nInspiration comes from many directions. I believe that \nideas are constantly floating around us: it’s up to us, \nas creatives, to capture them and transform them into \nconcrete, long-lasting projects.\n How would you describe your style?\nI wouldn’t say I have a particular style.
