They have a double shell in plywood: \nthe outer shell is veneered in ash, while the inner \none is covered in thin or thick leather. The joints \nbetween the two shells are enhanced by flush \nelements in chrome-plated or 24 carat gold-pla-\nted metal. The tops, which are divided into three \nsections, are 60 mm thick and made in MDF with \nash veneer. There are two variations for the writing \ndesk: top with central part covered in thin or thi-\nck leather, or full thin or thick leather top where \nthe leather is inlaid to form a flat surface with the \nwood. In both cases, the perimeters have a central \nsection covered in thin or thick leather. Two ha-\ntches in the central top of the desk serve to duct \ncables from the desk top to the horizontal cable \nconduit and then to ground level, passing via the \nducting in the side panels.
