The lagoon spirit is en-\nriched with autumnal colours. Through the use of oxidised silver, the coloured glass acquires shades \nof twilight, shapeless and iridescent objects come to life.\nThe MELT collection is a tribute to the industriousness of Murano and the lakeside nature that \nsurrounds the island. Inspired by the technique of glass casting that takes place in the furnaces of \nMurano, through the irregularity of the fusion, MELT furniture takes on a soft aesthetic in its shapes \nand organic in its surfaces. But MELT is also a metaphoric representation of the material that sur-\nrounds Venice: water. The chromatic changes that, from hour to hour, from season to season, the \nlagoon undergoes become a source of inspiration for careful chromatic research on the surfaces of \nthe furnishings that make up the collection. \nThrough the application of coloured veils and silvery reflections, achieved through the craft skills \npresent in Arte Veneziana, shapeless and iridescent objects come to life. Lo spirito lagunare si \narricchisce di cromatismi autunnali. The final effect can be transparent or non-trans-\nparent, depending on the intended use of the product. In general, non-transparent tops are those that are applied on third party surfaces (furni-\nture, walls, etc.) as the non-transparency allows the glues used to mount the pane to be hidden.\nThe decorated side should be cleaned with a soft, non-abrasive cloth and without the use of aggressive solvents: demineralised water is recom-\nmended.  The non-decorated side (glass) can be cleaned with any non-abrasive solvent to avoid marks or scratches.\nDECORATION \u002F DECORAZIONE\nLa decorazione dei vetri Melt è ottenuta mediante la posa di differenti strati tra colore, argento e primer. L’effetto finale può essere trasparente o \nnon trasparente, in base all’utilizzo che si vuol fare del prodotto. In generale i piani non trasparenti sono quelli che vengono applicati su superfici \nterze (mobili, pareti, ecc.) in quanto la non trasparenza permette di nascondere le colle utilizzate per il montaggio della lastra.\nLa pulizia del lato decorato deve essere effettuata con un panno morbido non abrasivo e senza l’utilizzo di solventi aggressivi: si consiglia l’uso di \nacqua demineralizzata.  Il lato non decorato (in quanto vetro) può essere pulito con qualsiasi solvente non abrasivo, al fine di evitare strisci o graffi.\nMelt glass is also available in a satin version. The satin finish is achieved by means of a specific high-resistance coating on the side opposite the \ndecoration (i.e. on the surface in contact with the viewer).
